When Deebo Samuel was carted off with a lower leg injury, many people thought it was going to be another season-ending injury given the fact that he couldn’t walk it off coupled with the fact that the 49ers have been absolutely decimated by injuries all season.
But according to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network, Samuel is “believed to have avoided a major injury”:
Samuel will under more tests to learn more about the ankle injury but for now, its’ a little sigh of relief for a 49ers team that just can’t afford to lose any more key players.
