NFL Concussion Spotter Missed DeVante Parker’s Obvious Head Injury During MNF Game

How did they miss this?

Patriots wide receiver DeVante Parker suffered a concussion during the Patriots’ Monday Night Football Game against the Arizona Cardinals. Parker caught a pass for a first down in the first quarter and had trouble standing up. Offensive lineman Cole Strange had to help him hold himself.

Even Troy Aikman said Parker was “a little banged up” and “wobbly,” noting “someone upstairs” should be watching the situation.

But for some reason, no one was watching.

Nelson Agholor tried to get the attention of the officials as both teams lined up to run another play. The only reason the play was stopped was because Kliff Kingsbury challenged Parker’s catch.

Parker was eventually ruled out with a concussion but the question is .. where was the damn concussion spotter? Parker was visibly stumbling. Players and broadcasters saw it. Who knows how long Parker would have been in if there hadn’t been a challenge.
