The Washington Commanders are so pathetic they can’t even get a memorial for one of their most idolized players correct, which in the realm of things difficult to mess up, is a layup.
Earlier this season, the team unveiled a tribute to former safety Sean Taylor at FedEx Field, one that resembled a mannequin at your local Dick’s Sporting Goods than something to immortalize one of the would-be greats that was taken from us too soon.
The original memorial, complete with the wrong helmet, jersey, and socks (essentially everything but the pants and cleats), has been replaced with equipment accurate to what Taylor wore, with his signature taped face mask, a Reebok jersey, the the proper socks.
