BREAKING: Willie McGinest Arrested On Felony Assault Charge, Video Of Incident Emerges

Willie McGinest, a three-time Super Bowl Champion with the New England Patriots, was arrested in Los Angeles on Monday on an assault with a deadly weapon charge in connection to a December 8th incident at a West Hollywood nightclub.

The 51-year-old posted his $30,000 bail, per multiple reports, and he is due in court on Wednesday.

Video of the incident that has emerged showing McGinest punching another male in the face and later bashing his head with a bottle:

McGinest, 51, had a 15-year NFL career playing defensive end and linebacker after he was selected No. 4 overall in the 2004 draft by New England out of USC.

The two-time Pro Bowler played for the Patriots from 1994-04 and the Browns from 2006-08. He compiled 86 sacks, 581 solo tackles and 16 forced fumbles in his regular season career.

The NFL Network, who currently employees McGinest released a statement saying ” they aware of the matter and are in the process of gathering information.”
