REPORT: Jalen Hurts Could Miss Remainder Of Regular Season After Suffering Shoulder Injury vs Bears

Jalen Hurts suffered a sprained shoulder injury during Sunday’s 25-20 win over the Chicago Bears that could sideline him for the remainder of the season, according to a report form Jeff McLane of the Philadelphia Inquirer:

Backup quarterback Gardner Minshew will presumably start against the Cowboys and as long as Hurts remains sidelined. Minshew is one of the NFL’s most experienced backup quarterbacks, with 22 starts in his 30 NFL appearances playing for the Eagles and Jacksonville Jaguars.

Hurts has emerged as an MVP candidate in his third NFL season while leading the Eagles to an NFL-best 13-1 record. He’s averaging a career-best 248 passing yards per game while tallying 22 touchdowns and five interceptions in 14 starts.
