Saturday night was a special night in Pittsburgh as the team was honoring the late great Franco Harris. In addition, there were many more tributes being posted around the NFL but one specifically appeared to stand out among the rest.
That’s because the NFL made an embarrassing mistake on it’s Twitter account.
During the primetime game between the Raiders and Steelers, the NFL posted a photo of a giant Mexican flag in the stands of Acrisure Stadium. It was next to a huge banner of Harris’ No. 32.
The NFL mistook the flag for the Italian flag:
They quickly deleted the tweet.
