REPORT: Jets Likely To Part Ways With Former No. 2 Overall Pick Zach Wilson After Season

The New York Jets were hoping to get the next Patrick Mahomes with the second overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, but unfortunately, they will once again be on the hunt for a franchise QB.

The BYU prospect came onto the national radar late, dazzling fans and apparently Jets scouts with his BYU Pro Day, but two seasons into his professional career, can’t stay off the bench.

Robert Saleh benched his QB during Thursday’s loss to the Jaguars, and Wilson will not even suit up for the team’s upcoming game against the Seahawks on Sunday.

Per Jay Glazer, Wilson has likely thrown his last pass in a Jets uniform, with the team likely to move on from the former top pick this offseason.
