BREAKING: Denver Broncos Are Hiring Sean Payton As Their Head Coach

The Denver Broncos have their next head coach.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Denver Broncos have finalized a trade with the New Orleans Saints to acquire the rights to Sean Payton.

The Broncos will be sending their 2023 first-round pick and next year’s second-round pick to New Orleans for the right to hire Payton:

Compensation: Denver’s 2023 first-round pick and next year’s second-round pick for Sean Payton and the Saints’ 2024 third.

Payton was the Saints’ coach from 2006-21. Before Payton came to New Orleans, the Saints had just one playoff win in franchise history. Payton won nine playoff games in New Orleans, including a Super Bowl.

He will now be tasked to fix Russell Wilson and a Broncos offense that is broken.
