REPORT: Bears Sign LB Tremaine Edmunds To A Historic Contract

The Chicago Bears are big spenders.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Bears are signing former Bills linebacker Tremaine Edmunds to a four-year deal worth $72 million, with $50 million guaranteed, making it the largest 4-year contract for an inside linebacker in NFL history.

The 24-year-old is a two-time Pro Bowler, and has started 74 games in his five-year career. Last season, he had 102 tackles in 13 games including six tackles for a loss, an interception, a sack and 7 pass defended.
