The New York Jets are reportedly nearing a deal with one of Aaron Rodgers’ favorite targets in wide receiver Allen Lazard.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Jets are pushing to get a deal done but there is another team involved and nothing has yet to be finalized, but the Jets are working to get a deal done with the former Green Bay Packers wideout:
The Jets are still waiting on a decision from Rodgers, but all indications are that he is going to accept a trade to New York eventually.
If and when he does, it sounds like he will be joined by Lazard, a WR who caught 168 passes for 2,216 yards and 19 TDs from him over a five-year span.
