Broncos quarterback Russell Wilson was involved in a scary incident over the weekend while playing golf in the Denver-area.
While playing at Arrowhead Golf Course in Littleton, Colorado on Saturday, Wilson’s golf cart appeared to flip over near a bunker, per 104.3 The Fan’s Mat Smith. It remains unclear what happened to cause the golf cart to flip.
Fortunately, no one was injured in the incident. The Broncos start has yet to comment on what happened. If anything, Wilson probably has learned to take it easy on the golf course.
Wilson is headed into his second season as the Bronco quarterback after 10 seasons with the Seattle Seahawks. Last year, the Broncos went 5-12 and finished last in the AFC West. In 15 starts, Wilson had just 16 touchdowns while throwing 11 interceptions.
