Kadarius Toney hasn’t forgotten how his tenure with the New York Giants ended and now that he’s a super Bowl champion, he’s sending a message to his former team and their fanbase.
During an appearance on Icebox’s YouTube channel, Toney said that would have his Chiefs Super Bowl ring fitted for his middle finger “for everybody in New York.”
“Aye, this for everybody in New York right here,” Toney told the camera while flipping the bird.
“I’m gonna go to the middle of New York with my middle finger up,” said Toney later in the video. “I love trolling. They tried to troll me, I’ve got something for ’em.”
The Giants eventually traded Toney to the Kansas City in October before the NFL trade deadline, where he went on to help the Chiefs win the 2023 Super Bowl over the Philadelphia Eagles.
Toney had a critical fourth-quarter 65-yard punt return and moments before that was on the receiving end of a 5-yard touchdown pass from Patrick Mahomes.
The Chiefs are expecting Toney to play a bigger role next season after getting into seven regular season games following the trade.
