Saquon Barkley is insane.
Barkley might been the midst of some frustrating contract negotiations with the New York Giants but that doesn’t mean the Pro Bowl running back is letting his uncertain future interfere with his preparations for the upcoming season.

According to ESPN’s Jordan Raanan, Barkley took part in a trip with teammates that was put together by Giants QB Daniel Jones in Lake Norman, North Carolina. This is a good sign that Barkley will indeed be with the Giants in 2023 as his contract negotiations seem to be in a place that isn’t satisfactory of the former Penn State product.
If the Giants and Barkley fail to come to an agreement on a long term deal by the July 17 deadline, Barkley will be forced to play the 2023-24 season on the $10.1 million franchise tag
