It’s official.
According to Adam Schefter, the New York Jets have been selected to by the NFL to appear on this season’s HBO’s Hard Knocks.
This was the expected outcome for a while now as the Jets were one of four teams the NFL could mandate to appear on the show and were by far more the more intriguing given the arrival of QB Aaron Rodgers this year.
The Jets were also featured on Hard Knocks in 2010 and to this day, that season was one of the more popular Hard Knocks season’s in the show’s 18 seasons.

Last year, the Lions were the selected team to appear on the show. Filming will take place during training camp and the episodes will release on a weekly basis starting in early August.
