Philip Rivers And His Wife Announce They’re Expecting Their 10th Child

Philip Rivers retired from the NFL a season ago which means he has more time on his hands.

What did Rivers do with his free time? Well, he made another baby with his wife.

Rivers an this wife Tiffany announced they are expecting their 10th child together, the couple confirmed to AL.com on Thursday. Rivers, who has served as the head football coach of St. Michael Catholic in Fairhope, Alabama, following 17 seasons in the NFL, said they are having a boy.

“We are all fired up,” Rivers said. “Everyone was pulling for a boy. Even our girls wanted a boy.”

Rivers and Tiffany, junior high sweethearts who tied the knot in 2001, share seven daughters – Halle, Caroline, Grace, Sarah, Rebecca, Clare, and Anna – and two sons – Gunner and Peter – ranging from ages 21 to four.

“We’ve had one pretty much every two years and now this is the longest gap,” Rivers told AL.com.

The eight-time Pro Bowler retired from the NFL following the 2020 season. He played 16 seasons with the San Diego/Los Angeles Chargers and his final year with the Indianapolis Colts. The Colts finished the 2021 season 11-5, clinching an AFC wild-card spot before losing to 27-24 to the Buffalo Bills.
