According to Andrew Marchand of the New York Post, Richard Sherman has emerged as a candidate to be Skip Bayless’ partner on Fox Sports 1’s “Undisputed.”

Bayless and the network are in the midst of finding a new partner in the wake of Shannon Sharpe leaving the show after seven years.

Bayless and Sherman have a history together, dating back more than a decade ago on ESPN’s “First Take.”

Sherman, then a player and a guest on the program, told Bayless to “address me as All-Pro Stanford graduate.”

Sherman added that Bayless “had never accomplished anything.”

Bayless shot back that he had “accomplished more in [media]” than Sherman had in football.

The program is in its usual summer hiatus but will begin again at the end of August.

If Sherman emerges as the choice, he would have to balance his schedule with his “Thursday Night Football” work, where he was part of Amazon Prime Video’s inaugural pre- and post-game coverage.
