Report: RB Dalvin Cook Tried To Pay Off Ex-GF After Punching, Choking & Threatening To Kill Her With A Rifle

One of the most productive RBs in the NFL remains unsigned, and this could very well be why.

Reports emerged Thursday evening that Dalvin Cook had offered his ex-girlfriend Gracelyn Trimble $800,000 to have her send a letter to the NFL absolving Cook of any wrongdoing in regard to an alleged physical assault that included him punching and choking, as well as brandishing a rifle while making death threats.

The former girlfriend of Cook also claims that Cook physically assaulted her by throwing her over a couch and into a coffee table, resulting in severe injuries to her forehead and nose, which caused bleeding.

After being turned down, Cook and his camp upped the offer to $1 million, which she also turned down.

Cook was released by the Minnesota Vikings in June and has remained a free agent since despite coming off four straight 1,000 yard seasons.
