Free-agent defensive end Robert Quinn was arrested and charged with third-degree assault and battery and hit-and-run with property damage in Summerville, South Carolina.
According to TMZ Sports, Quinn turned himself in Friday and was arrested after he was allegedly involved in a hit and run that damaged property on Tuesday. He reportedly hit four cars, a gate and a light post and then struck a woman in the face who was on the scene before leaving, per WCSC-TV:
Quinn was booked Friday and later attended a bond hearing at Summerville Municipal Court. A judge granted Quinn bond, but he’s facing seven charges after the alleged incident.
The 33-year-old South Carolina native was originally drafted in 2011 by the then-St. Louis Rams. He has played for the Rams, Miami Dolphins, Dallas Cowboys, Chicago Bears and most recently the Philadelphia Eagles.
Quinn is a three-time Pro Bowler, who has totaled 369 tackles, 102 sacks and 109 tackles for loss in 12 NFL seasons.
If these allegations are true, Quinn’s NFL career is all but over.
