Jets’ Jordan Whitehead Hit $250K Season Incentive In Week 1 vs Bills

Jets safety Jordan Whitehead had a magical night on Monday. In the first game of the season, Whitehead set a new career-high for interception in a season.

Whitehead had three interceptions off Bills quarterback Josh Allen in helping to keep the Jets in the game that they ultimately won in overtime, 22-16.

Not only did Whitehead help his team get a win in Week 1, he also hit his season incentive that pays him an extra $250,000.

The Jets will need their defense to be just as good going forward as the team will likely be without Aaron Rodgers for the remainder of the season after he suffered what the team fears is a torn achilles.
