Ravens Fan Gets Punched In The Face Several Times In Violent Brawl During Commanders Game

The Washington Commanders fanbase was excited to bring on the Josh Harris era but for one particular fan, it wasn’t as exciting.

In the stands at FedEx Field, a Commanders fan got into a full-fledged brawl with a Ravens fan in a Ray Lewis jersey. The man wearing the Ravens jersey ended up pinned in the stairs as the Commanders fan decked him in the face several times.

It was shockingly violent.

The Ravens fan was beat so badly, he is currently recovering at iNova Alexandria Hospital as he suffered injuries on his arms and had his face stitched up.

But it gets worse. He’s also facing a slew of criminal charges.

Prince George’s County police arrested and charged him Sunday with trespassing, disorderly conduct, and second-degree assault for what they say happened after the video stopped recording. After being hit, the fan appeared to stumble up the stadium stairs and argue with event security.

Here is Martino Ancora, the Ravens fan, speaking about the incident:

“I was there at the game with my girlfriend. I was being a spectator. She’s a fan of the Commanders,” Ancora told FOX 5. “I was just there supporting her on opening day. I was cheering for the Commanders as I’m in the row, there’s a guy a row ahead of me … He started being disrespectful with his words, and as you can see on the video, he pushed me first and as he pushed me I tried to lean in, and I was gonna push him back, but before I could push them back, the guy in our row actually rushed the whole aisle and knocked us all on to the ground.”

Ancora is set to appear in court within the next few weeks.

The Commanders beat the Cardinals in their home-opener while the Ravens also took care of business against the Houston Texans.
