Saturday night’s Florida-Tennessee’s game concluded with some controversy.
With the game in hand and the clock winding to zeros, Tennessee’s coach inexplicably decided to call a timeout despite members of his team already headed up to tunnel.
The next play was a Florida kneel down that featured a Vols defender hitting a kneeling Graham Mertz late (in which is partially on the QB for deciding to take a knee at the very last possible moment), leading to a scrum that included punches being thrown.
Both teams were separated and the game was called.
