Ezekiel Elliott returned to Dallas on Sunday as a member of the New England Patriots.
Elliott played for the Cowboys from 2016 to 2022, where he won two rushing titles (2016 and 2018) while helping them to playoff berths in 2016, 2018, 2021 and 2022.
He signed with the Patriots this past offseason after Dallas cut him in a cap-saving move.
Prior to the start of the game at AT&T Stadium, Dallas welcomed back Zeke with this heartfelt tribute video that included a viral meme of Elliott eating cereal:
In seven years with Dallas, Elliott accumulated 8,262 rushing yards and 68 rushing touchdowns. So far, the return to Dallas has been a disaster for Elliott and the Patriots as they trail 28-3 at halftime.
