New York Governor Loosens Law On Alcohol Sales On Sunday With Bills Playing At 9:30AM ET In London

Bills Mafia will be able to enjoy adult beverages bright and early while their team plays the Jacksonville Jaguars across the pond in London this weekend.

Given the time difference and kickoff set for 9:30 a.m. ET in Buffalo, New York Gov. Kathy Hochul has decided to accommodate fans by extending the time restaurants and bar owners will have to serve alcohol.

Hochul announced that bars and restaurants will have until Friday to apply for permits to serve alcohol this Sunday morning. The deadline for such applications had already expired, but Hochul decided to make an exception for the Bills game.

Hochul, who was born in Buffalo, has been a big supporter of the Bills, both on a personal level and as governor. She anchored a huge deal that will give the Bills $850 million to build a new stadium.
