Cam Newton Reveals What It Would Take For Jets To Be Able To Sign Him: “You’re Not About To Penny Pinch Me”

If the New York Jets want to sign Cam Newton (for the record, they haven’t shown any interest), they should prepare for some demands from the free agent quarterback.

Newton spoke to Robert Griffin III on the ‘RG3 and The Ones’ podcast and discussed the possibility of signing with the New York Jets on the back of Aaron Rodgers season-ending achilles injury.

“Going back to control? You not about to sit up there and penny pinch me, bro.” He declared “I’m not about to sit up here and sign no $5.5 million deal bro, those days are over. I’d be wasting my time.”
