Devonta Freeman Likes Tweet Saying Kyle Shanahan Purposely Blew 28-3 Lead To Get Jimmy G To San Francisco

The Atlanta Falcons will forever be remembered for blowing a 28-3 lead in the Super Bowl to the New England Patriots but one former Falcons’ player believes the lead was blown.. on purpose.

Devonta Freeman, who was the Falcons starting running back in 2016, liked a tweet saying Kyle Shanahan, the former Falcons offensive coordinator, threw the game so he could get Jimmy Garoppolo from the New England Patriots.

How does this add up? Well Freeman probably thinks that if the Patriots lose Super Bowl 51, Bill Belichick doesn’t trade Jimmy Garoppolo to San Francisco, who at the time were getting ready to hire Kyle Shanahan.
