Saturday was not a good day for the Purdue Boilermakers as they were obliterated at home by the No. 3 ranked Ohio State Buckeyes, 41-7.
Nothing went right for the Boilermakers but one play in particular perfectly summed up the day. Midway through the third quarter, Purdue kicker Julio Macias lined up for a field goal attempt while the team was down 27-0.
Unfortunately, the kick as no good. In fact, the attempt was so bad, it didn’t even hit the kicking net behind the goalposts.
Yikes.
The loss dropped Purdue to 2-5 on the season.
