Jets Are Trading WR Mecole Hardman Back To The Kansas City Chiefs

Mecole Hardman is returning back to a familiar place as his time with the New York Jets is over.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Jets have informed Hardman that they are trading him back to Kansas City in exchange for late round pick swaps:

Trade: Jets informed former Chiefs’ WR Mecole Hardman that he is being sent back to Kansas City in another late-round draft pick swap, per sources.

Hardman, 25, was the Chiefs second-round pick in the 2019 Draft. He spent his four seasons in Kansas City before signing a one-year deal with the Jets this past offseason.

But Hardman never found a role with the Jets and the team put him on the trade block, sending him back to Kansas City, who have a need for a wide receiver.
