Talk about bad timing.
It’s been a rough week for Jimmy Garoppolo, as the Raiders fired coach Josh McDaniels and general manager Dave Ziegler, pretty much confirming that this will be the end of the Garoppolo era in Las Vegas. Oh yeah, they also benched Jimmy G in favor for Aiden O’Connell.
What makes this week suck even more for Garoppolo is that he turns 32 years old on Thursday. Despite the quarterback getting benched and all the upheaval in Las Vegas, the Raiders posted a “Happy Birthday” message on social media for the veteran.
Sheesh.
