George Pickens Posts “Free Me” On Social Media After Latest Poor Performance vs Titans

As it turns out, winning isn’t enough for George Pickens.

Following the Steelers’ 20-16 win over the Tennessee Titans on Thursday Night Football, the Steelers second-year receiver posted “Free Me” while scrubbing the Steelers from his Instagram page.

Pickens’ post comes after he caught just two passes for -1 yard on Thursday. He’s had just three receptions over Pittsburgh’s last two games. Despite his lack of recent production, Pickens is still on pace to eclipse 1,000 receiving yards this season for Pittsburgh, which improved to 5-3 after beating Tennessee.

Pickens has three 100-yard games this season including in back-to-back games against the Ravens and Rams. He’s clearly not happy, though, with his lack of production over the last two games.

This wasn’t the only questionable move by the Steelers receiver. A clip surfaced online of Pickens showing no excitement over Diontae Johnson’s go-ahead score in Thursday’s game, seemingly walking away from the play after Johnson scored:

Nonetheless, the Steelers are 5-3 and will host the Packers in Week 10.
