REPORT: Kyler Murray Expected To Return From Knee Injury This Week vs Falcons

Kyler Murray’s return is imminent.

Arizona Cardinals head coach Jonathan Gannon announced that the star signal-caller will get the start Sunday against the Atlanta Falcons if “practice goes well” during the week.

Murray will take first-team reps during practice after Clayton Tune started Sunday’s game against the Cleveland Browns that resulted in the team’s sixth consecutive loss.

The No. 1 overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft hasn’t played since tearing his ACL last year in Week 14 against the New England Patriots. He was designated to return from the physically unable to perform (PUP) list on Oct. 18.
