An ugly game for the New York Jets turned into a complete disaster and it resulted in a referee spitting up blood.
After the Dolphins scored a touchdown in the fourth quarter to take a 27-6 lead, a fight broke out on the extra point attempt. Players from both sides started pushing and shoving in so many places that a referee got caught up in the scrum.
Amazon Prime Video caught a close-up of the referee spitting out some blood. Two players, Jets DL Michael Clemons and Dolphins OT Austin Jackson, were ejected from the game.
The Dolphins went on to defeat the Jets, 34-13.
