The Ohio State-Michigan rivalry is a rivalry that goes beyond just the football field and it was very evident on Saturday.
During Saturday’s game, the rivalry spilled over to the sidelines when Ohio State’s athletic director, Gene Smith, got into a verbal altercation with a Michigan Wolverines staffer.
The clip, posted by Trey Wallace of Outkick, shows the official speaking to Smith and seeming to ask for his name for presumably standing too close to the field during the game.
“What the f— is yours? What the f— is your name?” Smith asked the official before turning his attention to the Michigan staffer. “I’m behind the yellow line. Don’t get me started.”

The Wolverines got the last laugh against Gene Smith and Ohio State, 30-24.
