The New York Giants coaching staff did a marvelous job in 2022, leading the team to a 9-7-1 record and a playoff win but it’s all falling apart in 2023.
According to Jay Glazer of FOX Sports, there’s a lot of “tension” between head coach Brian Daboll and defensive coordinator Wink Martindale to the point that Glazer won’t be surprised if Martindale is fired before the end of the season.
The Giants are 3-8 and are hosting the 2-8 Patriots on Sunday in a big matchup for draft position. If the Giants lose on Sunday, there’s a chance Martindale could be relived of his duties on Monday.
