Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce is not a fan of Buffalo Bills defensive tackle Jordan Phillips.
Appearing on the 94WIP Morning Show, Kelce accused Phillips of “purposely” trying to injure Eagles guard Cam Jurgens, adding that Phillips should be fined for his actions.
The play that Kelce is referring to occurred late in the first quarter when the Eagles were lining up for the “Brotherly Shove” on 4th-and-1 from the Buffalo 47-yard line. Phillips ran through Jurgens before the ball was snapped, giving the Eagles a first down.
In addition, there were multiple other plays that were shared by Eagles fans and analysts that show Phillips using questionable tactics. Kelce noted he was only going to comment on the play involving Jurgens, but not the rest of the game.
Phillips and fellow Bills teammate Shaq Lawson were also involved in an altercation.
The Bills and Eagles played one of the best games of the season with the Eagles prevailing 37-34 in overtime after Jake Elliott tied the game at 31 on a 59-yard field goal in the ran with 20 seconds remaining in regulation. In overtime, Jalen Hurts scored the game-winning 11-yard touchdown.
The Bills have lost three of their last four games and are currently 10th in the AFC playoff standings with a 6-6 record overall. Meanwhile the Eagles sit at 10-1 and have the best record in the NFL.
