First MNF Flex Ever: Eagles vs Seahawks Will Now Be Played On MNF, Chiefs-Patriots Moved To Sunday

For the first time ever, the NFL has flexed its a Monday Night Football game.

Week 15’s Eagles-Seahawks game in Seattle will now be played on Monday, December 18th on ESPN at 8:15 p.m. ET,r replacing the previously scheduled Chiefs-Patriots game.

The Chiefs-Patriots game will now be played on Sunday, Dec.17 at 1 p.m. ET on FOX. Philadelphia-Seattle was previously scheduled for Sunday, Dec. 17 at 4:25 p.m. ET on FOX.

This marks the first-ever flexible scheduling move for a Monday night game. Flexible scheduling was first implemented in 2006, but this is the first year it has been expanded to include Monday and Thursday night flexibility, on a trial basis.


The league also announced the NFL Network triple-header on Saturday, December 16th with the Vikings-Bengals at 1 p.m. ET followed by Steelers-Colts at 4:30 p.m. ET and finished off with the Broncos-Lions at 8:15 p.m. ET.
