Patriots OT Trent Brown Says Team Didn’t “Respect” Malik Cunningham After He Signs With Ravens

The Baltimore Ravens signed quarterback Malik Cunningham to their active roster off the New England Patriots’ practice squad on Tuesday.

The former University of Louisville standout showed some flashes during the preseason but only appeared in one regular season game for the Patriots, despite their quarterback situation being an absolute dumpster fire.

Cunningham, who was the third string quarterback behind Mac Jones and Bailey Zappe, was very popular in the locker room. Offensive tackle Trent Brown sent a message to Cunningham following the departure at the expense of the Patriots.

“Go flourish where your talent is respected,” Brown told Cunningham.
