Zach Wilson Out For Remainder Of The Game vs Dolphins With A Head Injury That’s Not A Concussion

Zach Wilson left Sunday’s game against the Miami Dolphins at Hard Rock Stadium with dehydration, according to the CBS broadcast.

Wilson left the game and was replaced by Trevor Siemian late in the second quarter and finished out of the half, with the Dolphins leading 24-0.

At the start of the second half, Siemian remained the starter and the Jets ruled Wilson out for the remainder of the game with a head injury that’s not a .. concussion.

Jets Pr tells me Zach Wilson is OUT with a head injury. I asked if that meant he has a concussion. But no, it is not being called a concussion. And he is not in concussion protocol, per the Jets.

Jets PR told me at the end of the first half that Zach Wilson went to the locker room NOT with an injury — but instead for “hydration.” Wilson not under center to start the second half.

Now the team has come out and said Zach is dealing with a "head injury" and Trevor Siemian is in the game.

Some fans are saying Zach basically quit on the team.
