Cameras Caught Kenny Pickett Looking Miserable As Entire Stadium Chanted “Mason Rudolph”

The Pittsburgh Steelers saw their best offensive showing on Saturday against the Cincinnati Bengals and there was a plot twist. Instead of the team’s 2022 first round pick quarterback, Kenny Pickett, leading the team, it was backup quarterback Mason Rudolph.

Rudolph threw for 290 yards, two touchdowns and had a passer rating of 124.0.

The performance was showing impressive, Steelers fans in Acrisure Stadium were chanting his name – “MASON RUDOLPH!”

One person that wasn’t chanting Rudolph’s name was Kenny Pickett and when cameras cut to him, he looked absolutely miserable:

Pickett tried to suit up but simply couldn’t get clearance in time to play tonight. He is expected back on the field in for the Steelers’ Week 17 game against the Seahawks in Seattle.

Pickett returned to practice this week, less than three weeks after he underwent surgery on his ankle. It is going to be hard to keep Rudolph off the field if he is hot and playing like this.
