Lions Veteran OT Taylor Decker Was Seen Crying On Field After Winning NFC North

As the final seconds ticked off the clock in the Detroit Lions’ 30-24 win against the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday, no one was more happier than offensive tackle Taylor Decker. With the win, the Lions won the NFC North for the first time in 30-years.

Decker, who was selected by the Detroit Lions in the first round of the 2016 NFL Draft has spent his entire NFL career with the Lions including the team’s four losing seasons from 2018 to 2021. On Sunday, Decker finally felt what it was like to win the division and punch your ticket to the playoffs.

After the game, the veteran Lions offensive tackle was in tears when quarterback Jared Goff embraced him with a hug. This is what it’s all about:

The Lions (11-4) still have a chance at the No. 1 seed in the NFC and will look to finish the season strong with games against the Dallas Cowboys on Dec. 30 and rematch against the Vikings in their season finale on Jan. 7.
