Ever since Brock Purdy came onto the season, everyone has pointed out his striking resemblance to Ravens head coach John Harbaugh. On Monday night, the head coach and quarterback for the first time ever.
Following the Ravens 33-19 win over the 49ers, Harbaugh and Purdy met at midfield for a postgame handshake. Harbaugh couldn’t help himself but crack a joke with his doppelgänger.
“People tell me we look alike,” Harbaugh told Purdy. “I got a lot of respect for you, man. You do a great job.”
It was a rough night for Purdy who struggled mightily against the Ravens ferocious defense, tossing four interceptions. His performance likely ended any discussion of him winning the 2023 NFL MVP Award.
The next time Purdy and Harbaugh could potentially meet is in Super Bowl LVIII in Las Vegas.
