NFL Has Demoted Brad Allen’s Officiating Crew After Controversial Penalty During Cowboys-Lions Game

The referees from the Cowboys-Lions game on Saturday night called a controversial penalty on Lions’ Taylor Decker that will have a heavy impact on the NFC playoffs as it knocked the Lions out of contention for the No. 1 seed and it kept the Cowboys alive for the NFC East.

The penalty was so egregious that the National Football League is already taking drastic measures to make sure this crew don’t screw up anymore games.

According to ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter, the veteran official and his crew are expected to be demoted out of the playoffs.

“Brad Allen’s referee crew is expected to be downgraded and out for 2024 NFL Playoffs.”

Allen and his officiating crew have been at the center of multiple questionable calls this year.
