Rex Ryan Goes Off On Referees From Cowboys-Lions Game: “The Players Did Everything Right”

Add Rex Ryan to the list of people who are absolutely irate at the officials following Saturday night’s controversial penalty on the Detroit Lions that negated the potential game-winning two-point conversion play.

Following a Lions touchdown that cut the Cowboys lead to 20-19, the Lions went for two to win the game and appeared to be on their way to to the win when offensive lineman Taylor Decker caught Jared Goff’s pass to give Detroit a one-point lead over the Cowboys with under a minute left.

But the official ruled that Decker was an ineligible receiver, even though Taylor said he reported prior to the snap. 

During Sunday’s NFL Countdown on ESPN, Rex Ryan went ballistic, blaming the officials for mistaking No. 68 (Taylor Decker) for No. 70 (Dan Skipper).
