Justin Fields Takes Jab At Green Bay Ahead Of Game vs Packers At Lambeau Field

Justin Fields and the Chicago Bears are going into Sunday’s game in Green Bay with nothing to play for except the opportunity to spoil the Packers season.

The Bears have already been eliminated from playoff contention while the Packers control their own destiny and could clinch a playoff spot with a win but with a loss, their playoff destiny is completely out of their hands.

With so much at stake in Sunday’s matchup, Bears quarterback Justin Fields knows that it’s going to be a hostile environment. When talking about the upcoming NFC North matchup, Fields noted how Lambeau Field should be rocking while taking a quick jab at the city of Green Bay.

“I know their fans are going to be loud ’cause there’s not much to do in Green Bay except watch football,” Fields said. “It’s going to be a great environment for us to play in. Hopefully, we have a great game and get the dub on Sunday.”

Fields is 0-5 as a starter in his career against the Green Bay Packers and is looking to snap Chicago’s nine-game losing streak to it’s rival.

It could also be Fields’ last game as the Bears quarterback as the team is set to have the No. 1 pick in the 2024 NFL Draft and while Fields has played well down the stretch, the Bears could be inclined to draft USC’s Caleb Williams or UNC’s Drake Maye.

But a win on Sunday will make that decision even harder.
