Myles Garrett Compares Browns To 2017 Eagles Team That Won Super Bowl

When the Cleveland Browns lost Deshaun Watson with a season-ending injury back in November, many believed their season was over but then the team signed Joe Flacco and find themselves in the thick of the AFC Playoffs and have a legit shot to go on a run.

The team’s All-Pro pass rusher Myles Garrett was a recent guest on ‘SpeakOnFS1‘ about what this season feels like in his eyes.

“It is kind of eerily similar {to the Eagles 2017 Super Bowl team} from having the same coach (Jim Schwartz), who was on that team, who is here & he’s definitely brought it up a couple times,” he told Fox Sports.

The Philadelphia Eagles went on a playoff run with backup quarterback Nick Foles before defeating New England Patriots in the Super Bowl.

The Browns have the potential to make a run themselves with Flacco, who was signed off the couch weeks ago, still playing like one of the better quarterbacks in the league. Then there’s Garrett and the top five Browns defense.

We’ll see if the Browns can go on a similar run.. they surely have the defense to do it.
