Pittsburgh Steelers star linebacker T.J. Watt left the team’s Week 18 matchup against the Baltimore Ravens on Saturday after he suffered a knee injury. Watt was immediately ruled out and many believed that Watt suffered a torn ACL.
While Watt’s ACL remains in-tact, he did suffer a significant injury that puts his availability for the playoffs in doubt. According to multiple reports, Watt suffered a sprained MCL and will undergo further testing.
Watt suffered the injury late in the third quarter after a collision with teammate Montravius Adams. The Steelers hung on to a 17-10 win over the Ravens and still need some help to make the playoffs.
If they do make the playoffs, they’ll likely be without Watt in the AFC Wild Card game.
