San Francisco 49ers guard JOn Feliciano apologized to fellow offense lineman Spencer Burford for a “hungover” tweet on Twitter/X that was critical of him for missing a block on Chiefs defensive lineman Chris Jones on a critical 3rd down in overtime that forced a bad throw from Brock Purdy.

The play was setup for success but unfortunately the offensive line couldn’t hold up. The 49ers had Jauan Jennings breaking free from coverage and would’ve gotten at least a first down if Purdy had time to make an accurate pass. On the other side of the field, Brandon Aiyuk smoked L’Jarius Snead on his route and was wide open in the end zone.

Instead, the 49ers are left wondering what if..

Feliciano is set to become a free agent after signing a one-year deal with the 49ers last offseason. He appeared in 16 games during the regular season and started each of their three playoff games.
