Former Cleveland Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel was a guest on Shannon Sharpe’s Club Shay Shay this week and reflected his short-lived NFL career among other things. Manziel struggled off the field during his time in Cleveland. His career with the Browns ended in March of 2016.
Prior to his release, Manziel was spotted at a Las Vegas casino while the Browns played their last game of the season. Manziel claims he was 210 pounds when he left Cleveland. Later that year, he spent more time in Sin City, saying “I was 170 pounds sitting in Vegas.” Sharpe was surprised at the dramatic weight loss, and Manziel admitted, “How do you lose 40 pounds? You’re on a strict diet of blow.”

This isn’t the first time Manziel opened up about his history with drug use and the end of his two-year NFL career. Manziel teamed up with Netflix to release a documentary titled Johnny Football in 2023.
