REPORT: Jets Believe Ex-WR Mecole Hardman Leaked Gameplan To Other Teams

Mecole Hardman’s season ended on a high note after he caught the game winning touchdown pass in Super Bowl 58 but that doesn’t mean it started on a high note.

Hardman started the season with the New York Jets after signing a 1-year deal with the club in the offseason. His tenure with Gang Green was short as he was traded back to Kansas City during the trade deadline.

Despite his short tenure, the Jets believe he learned enough bout the team to leak it to opponents.

According to SNY’s Connor Hughes, the Jets believe that Hardman leaked game plans to both the Philadelphia Eagles and to the team he rejoined this season, the Kansas City Chiefs.

Despite the accusations, the Jets were still able to beat the Philadelphia Eagles, ending their unbeaten streak and while they lost the Kansas City Chiefs, it was Zach Wilson’s best game as a pro.

Hardman wasn’t with the Jets for long, but it’s clear that he’s made more enemies than friends in New York.
