Garrett Wilson is going viral for taking a very unnecessary risk.
A photo has popped up all over social media showing the New York Jets wide receiver sitting on the ledge of tall building in New York City.
It’s hard to tell if there’s any sort of protective netting or lower floor that might break his fall if anything were to happen, but it really doesn’t look like it.
Wilson has been the most important player on the Jets offense outside of Aaron Rodgers. He won Offensive Rookie of the Year in 2022 and had his second-straight 1,000-yard season in 2023 despite the Jets starting Zach Wilson, Trevor Simieon and Tim Boyle all year.
The Jets will need Wilson healthy if they want to end their playoff drought in 2024 so it’d be nice if he didn’t do things like sitting on a ledge of a skyscraper.
