REPORT: Jets Owner Woody Johnson Got Into “Heated Conversation” With HC Robert Saleh During NFL Meeting

Tensions were apparently running high between the New York Jets brass during the NFL’s owners meetings.

According to NFL Media’s Colleen Wolfe, Jets head coach Robert Saleh got into a “heated conversation” with owner Woody Johnson to the point where Wolfe claims, things got “a little awkward.”

Wolfe clarified multiple times that she wouldn’t classify the exchange as an argument but rather a passionate conversation.

Saleh will be entering is fourth season as the Jets head coach. He has an overall record of 15-33 and has yet to finish with a better record than 7-10. He’s clearly entering the 2024 season well on the hot seat.
